Cortijada Los Gázquez - Location

At a thousand meters above sea level, Cortijada Los Gázquez is high in the mountains of Andalucia’s extreme natural beauty, with 50 acres of pine, almond and arable, as well as formal gardens.

There were once five old Spanish farm houses, a cortijada, which is now converted into one very beautiful east facing space. On the one hand great homage and respect has been given in its restoration to the simple vernacular architecture of the building, and on the other hand a crisp eye for detail has been employed which makes the place seem stunningly modern.

It is possible to decorate the location and there are many interesting interior and exterior features which include arches, atriums, beams, fireplaces, ornate ceilings, stone floors, pillars, staircases, balconies, chimneys, courtyards and gardens.

The location is also a guesthouse accommodating 6 double bedrooms and wifi. Catering is available or there are a number of restaurants close by.
