| After experimenting
with many different styles and approaches in order
to develop his own language in his photography
MA at Konstfack – University of Art & Design,
Stockholm in 1991, Johan worked as assistant to
Michael Jansson, learning to balance the commercial
with the artistic. Already well–known in
Scandinavia for his architectural photography and
exhibited art work, his work in the fields of interiors,
fashion and still life include clients such as
Forum and Wallpaper, with advertising campaigns
for Harvey Nichols for Mother, France Telecom for
Leo Burnett and Nordiska Kompaniet for Lowe Brindfors.
His major focus is exploring the relation to the
space inside and out in a wider sense and bringing
the human element into that space. His wide ranging
influences and his passion for architecture and
the relationship between spatial elements informs
his work in all fields – the location is
as important as the model and the clothes. |
