Ruy Teixeira was born
in Brazil, but has spent the last 20 years living
in Europe. Ruy began his career shooting social
reportage and then moving into fashion interiors
and design.
In 1998 he began working with Edelkoort Studio producing
conceptual and pure design ideas. It was this experience
that has had the most influence on his photography
and ignited his passion for architecture and new
design products.
His clients include Eindhoven Design Academy, Swarowski,
Conran, Kartell, Cassina, Zanotta, Galeries Lafayette,
and he regularly shoots for editorial clients View
on Color, Wallpaper,and Elle International. "Dovetusai"
was published in 2004 and includes work by John
Pawson and Isamu Noguchi. |
