Born in Germany but now residing in London, Uli’s apprenticeship to a respected portrait photographer in a small German town was a rather spontaneous idea which blossomed into a serious vocation. After travelling and living in Australia she ended up in England where she took her MA in glass and ceramics at the Royal College of Art. Working as a buyer for Mint Interiors stimulated her love of  beautiful objects and innovative design; and rekindled her passion for photography. Editorial work for Elle Decoration, Marie Claire and The Guardian soon followed and close collaborative projects with award-winning shoe designer Tracey Neuls, and floral and interiors store Visionary Living among others.
